Tattoo Aftercare

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• For at least three weeks, minimize exposure to the sun, and avoid swimming or submerging in water
• Properly cleanse the tattooed area with non-perfumed soap (e.g.: VitaliTree Foaming Soap).
• Apply a light coating of ointment or salve (e.g. Aftercare Salve listed below or Aquaphor)
• Triple Antibiotic, Neosporin, A & D, or Vaseline is not recommended. Use sterile bandage(s) or other sterile dressing(s) when necessary;
• If you have any further questions or are concerned of infection or allergic reaction, please contact your artist first. If you have an infection and feel it is an emergency, please see a doctor. Report your diagnosed infection to BOTH your piercer and to the Texas Department of State Health Services, Drugs and Medical Devices Group, at 1-888-839-6676 0r 512-834-6711
